This cranium approximate measurement are as follows: 3 9/16" long and 2 2/16" wide.
A Chimaera, also spelled Chimera, are closely related to sharks and rays.
They are also called by numerous other names such as: Rat fish,,Ghost shark,,Rabbit fish and Spookfish.
This Chimaera was a accidental bycatch caught in the Philippines.
The Scentific Name for this species of Chimaera is: (Hydrolagus Deani)
Note:  I personally Prepped, Cleaned and Whitened this Chimaera Cranium myself to look it's nicest as you can also see in the 12 pictures,,, "that's right" I always put the maximum amount of pictures so you can see how nice my Prep work really is.
