The markings are hard to read because some of them have been sanded, also the blade looks refinished. The left side of the ricasso appears to be marked "1907 / 10 17 / Sanderson".  Right side of of ricasso has British proof marks that are also hard to read. The pommel has markings that have been stamped out and they are not legible.

Condition:
The press catch is functional and smooth. The wood grips have some light scratches, scuffs and darks spots. The screws have light tool marks with usable slots. The panels are securely fastened. Both the pommel and guard are securely fastened. The blade spine has some light dings and nicks. The blade edge has some light dings and has been sharpened at some point. The tip is intact and comes to a dull point. The markings have either been marked out or lightened due to the refinishing of the blade. There is still light evidence of light pitting below some of the finish and some light oxidation on the edges of the tang and inside the press catch. There is NO scabbard.
