    Description

    Vintage GABBY HARTNETT Spalding Catchers Mitt.
    I believe this mitt dates to the 1930's.  Marked "Spalding, Custom Built Hand Tailored Padding, Pat 2.231.204" on the outside of the glove, and marked "105 (or 10.5) Spalding Made in USA, Gabby Hartnett" on the interior.  The leather is in really good condition - fairly supple.  The lacing is a bit worse for wear and needs to be replaced.
