Tenaya Ra Climbing Shoes - Men's Size 8

Tenaya RA climbing shoes, never worn other than to try on (no gym or outdoor use).
Sizing: UK=7; US Men=8; US Women=9; Europe=40 3/4. For reference, I wear an 8.5 men's shoe size (Adidas/Nike) and these feel probably too tight for me, but I can get my foot in and velcro them shut - maybe a performance fit? I can't speak to how they do climbing because I have never worn them, but I can tell you they are basically new and all the rubber is there!
