  • Condition: These boots are in excellent condition. Tread is full, lightly used, laces and leather all excellent. There is one 2mm tear on the inside right boot from walking but in no way affects the performance of the boots. You can barely see it. These boots have been well cared for and lightly used.

    Description

    These boots are on everyone's feet for Mt. Rainier type climbs (Shasta, technical climbs in the Sierra and Rockies), and for all things ice. They are warm, supportive, waterproof, and somehow manage to walk well down a trail. I've owned 2 pair of these and realized last month that my feet have gotten slightly wider and longer since my first pair. In other words these are just a tad too short and tight now. I already bought a replacement pair of 45.5s as evidence of how much I like these boots. I just don't think there is a better all around alpine boot out there and the hundreds of other climbers I see wearing them on big and small peaks in the western US attest to that.
