Antique bottles are very popular,unique home decorations nowdays,as featured in several national magazine articles!Offered is a selection consisting of one vintage shoe polish or dressing bottle dating between 1890 and 1900.The bottle has a hand tooled cork top finish.The lot includes:
1)--A 5 5/8"tall,2 1/2"wide,1 3/8"deep,fairly common bottle in a very seldom seen,uncommon beautiful shade of dark true chocolate amber!!Embossed on front is "French Gloss"and on back "Whittemore-Boston".Bottle has no wear and light  hazing from being buried.There is a very shallow,1/4"long flake on the edge of lip,just now noticed it.A great addition for your Shoe Dressing or Polish bottle collection!!

The bottle has been dug and has ground hazing,no damage unless noted.The embossment has been highlighted for photo with a white marker,could be easily removed with polish remover.!!
