This Heart of the Hide baseball glove from Rawlings features the basket web pattern, which was the first flexible web that made the glove easier to squeeze. The glove was a collaborative effort between Rawlings and shortstop Derek Jeter. With its 11 1/2" pattern, this glove is based on his performance needs at his position and reflects his personal preference in web style, break points, function, and fit.  Handcrafted from the top 5%of steer hides and the best pro grade lace, the Heart of the Hide gloves durability remain unmatched. Its Convention Back drives flexibility and strength.
This glove was given the "Works Plus Package" by the guys at We String It, which means this glove was cleaned, dyed, the palm was padded, interior was replaced, thumb and pinky loops replaced, binding replaced, conditioned, an given a complete re-lace with Tanners aluminum tanned Tan color lace.  Because of the work done to the mitt, it will require a break-in period before it is game ready.   The fingers& Web were laced with1/4" for extra strength and durability.  The lace in the glove is also guaranteed for 1 year, should the laces break (under normal wear) simply send the glove back to the guys at We String It, and they will replace the lace at no cost.
