  • Sport: Climbing
  • US Size: 10.5
  • Condition: I'm the original owner of these. They've been used a lot and resoled once with 5.10 C4 Stealth rubber. There's some sole left, see the pis for details. The shoes are intact, they have some loose stitches, worn areas, they're well used. I was still climbing in them and would continue to do so but my feet have gotten larger and these were feeling too small. With some seam sealer these shoes will be good for years and more resoles. I have 3 other pairs and they're indestructible. I've resoled one par 5 times now. message with any questions.

    A bit more about Gandas
, although if you're looking at these I'm sure you already know how great they are.. Sportiva's idea for the Ganda was a "spare no expense" approach to designing the best possible approach shoe. What they came up with was a shoes that is slip lasted in the front (like a climbing shoe) and board lasted in the back like a tennis shoe. This was the first shoe to use this design and also the last as far as I know. It turned out to be a very expensive shoe to produce and they did not end up being a profitable because of that. They retailed for around 0 in the early 2000s, which adjusted for inflation is around 0 today - that puts into perspective how expensive these were when the originally came out. Back then most approach shoes were around -0. This shoe is in my opinion the best approach shoe ever made, and is one of my absolute favorite climbing shoes. I own 4 pairs in 3 sizes for different types of climbing. I use them primarily for climbing, and for some styles they climb as well as or better than a dedicated climbing shoe.

    About me:
I’ve been selling on eBay since 1999 and in that time I’ve never had a negative feedback. I’m not running a business on eBay, I’m mostly selling things I no longer need and selling things for my family and friends. I’m not just looking to make money, I’m generally just cleaning out the closet and looking to recoup what money I can. I want my buyers to be happy with their purchases and I’m always willing to work out any issues. If I’m selling something for someone else I take time to learn about it and make sure I’m listing it accurately. Over the last 20+ years I’ve rarely made mistakes in my listings but in such a case I always take responsibility and make things right with the buyer. As I buyer I know what it’s like to be disappointed with a purchase and I don’t want to be the cause of that for anyone. I’m always happy to answer questions, feel free to reach out for any reason.
