    This listing is for the exact set of jaws pictured.

    These are small jaws from a small species.
    This is a rare offering - The Thornback Guitarfish - P. triseriata.  Female.  Jaws with data tag.
    This specimen was landed in the mid-1980s near Long Beach, CA.
    This species is found along the US/Mex West Coast, typically in shallow waters, from northern California south into Baja.
    This ray had a total body length of 320mm.
    The jaws are about 1-7/8" max width.  Quarter for size comparison only.
    This is a rare and unusual jaw for the serious collector.
