    Description

    British 1821 Pattern light cavalry officers sword made by Prosser, London. This type of swords carried up to and including the Crimean War, the steel fullered blade, regulation iron three-bar hilt with ribbed wooden grip, most of shagreen is gone, scabbard is missing. The hilt has an even salt and pepper grey age pitting.
    Cut and thrust Wilkinson type blade retains weak etchings of Victorian period on both sides
