ANTIQUE BRASS MINERS' CARBIDE HELMET LAMP GUY'S DROPPER SHANKLIN MFG 1915 - 1925

Description

Offering a carbide miners' helmet / cap lamp.  The model is called Guy's Dropper and was manufactured by Shanklin Mfg. of Springfield, ILL. Patent dates run from 1915 to 1925.  It was originally nickel plated, much or all of which wore off in usage, revealing the brass base metal.  It stands 4 1/8" tall.  The reflector diameter is 3 1/8".
