This bumper is a 1958 Ford Edsel OEM Rear Bumper and has been Triple Plating Chromed. Process consists of copper, nickel and chrome. In other words, this is top notch quality of Cr6+. This hexavalent chromium should last you a lifetime, as long as you take care of it. Upon installing there should be no issues, just be gentle and please avoid greasing up the bumper as it will be waxed before being shipped.
