Up for sale is a 1/50 scale Crane Component Transportation Rack Set made by Mays Laser Concepts for the Terex / Demag AC1000 Mobile Crane made by Conrad Model. In this listing, you will receive the following items:
1x Front Outrigger Rack
1x Rear Outrigger Rack
1x Super Lift Suspension System Rack
1x Hook Block Rack
1x Boom Transportation Rack (2 Frames)
1x Spreader Plate Rack
1x Winch Assembly Rack
These racks were designed and built from actual specifications in 1/50 scale. The racks will allow you to display the crane's components in transportation just like the real machine! Every attempt has been made to keep the model as accurate as possible!
If you look closely at the pictures, you can see that we even incorporated score lines to represent the individual pieces of steel that make up the real racks! Other features include:
*Interlocking tabs to prevent racks from sliding off your trailers
*Modular design that allows racks to be stacked on each other for storage when not in use
*Storage for all ladders and stairs on the Superlift Transportation Rack as well as rigging chains
*Pin holes to keep outriggers secured on their racks
These racks ship unassembled and finished in black. They are available unfinished, if desired, in a separate listing. Assembly is accomplished using any common super glue, or wood glue! Assembly takes under thirty minutes for all racks in most cases!
By utilizing a high quality wood and laser cutting all parts for extreme accuracy, you can rest easy knowing that your crane's parts are being displayed without having to worry about their paint finish being scratched by the racks.

***READ BEFORE PURCHASE***
This item is laser cut, which results in a burnt wood smell due to the cutting process. This smell will go away after a few days, or once it is painted.
Discoloration of the wood also occurs and can be removed by lightly sanding the parts with a high grit sandpaper.
